All patients, including children, have been allocated a named accountable GP.  You can book an appointment with your named GP or with any other clinician of your choice - subject to availability.  If you are unsure of your named GP, please contact reception or discuss with your clinician at your next appointment.

From 3rd November Station Road Surgery is working jointly with Camberley Health Centre on a rota basis to provide GP and Practice Nurse appointments in the evening, Monday to Friday, until 8 pm. Patients of either Station Road Surgery or Camberley Health Centre will be able to make an evening appointment at one of the surgeries.  To make an appointment please telephone 01276 62622 or you can book online.  If you are not registered to use the online service please find out more by going to Further Information on the right hand side of our home page.

This is a major achievement in improving healthcare services to local patients and we hope you bear with us as the new service settles in.  Longer opening hours is a major step forward in improving access to GP practices and has been introduced as part of a significant investment by NHS Surrey Heath Clinical Commissioning Group in GP practice and community services.

You will find the results of our latest Patient Satisfaction Survey by clicking on the link below 'Upload Survey Report'.  Thank you for spending the time completing our questionnaires, your views are valuable to us.

Important - please notify us of any changes to your address or telephone no.

Travel Advice

We can offer vaccination and healthcare advice for anyone travelling abroad.  If you do need any special vaccinations or medical advice, you should be aware that some courses can take up to 4 weeks to complete.  We therefore advise you to complete the online travel questionnaire and send to the practice at least 6 weeks prior to travelling.  One of our practice nurses will then contact you to make an appointment.

Our experienced practice nurses have up-to-date information about the vaccination requirements for certain countries. We are also an approved Yellow Fever Centre.

There is a fee payable for some travel vaccinations.  Please ask for details.

Station Road Surgery

The Practice has been in existence for over seventy years and was originally based in Frimley Green, eventually moving to Station Road, Frimley, as the population expanded.

Dr Bennett joined the practice in May 2002 and Dr Snell in August 2003. Last year due to retirement we have a new Partner, Dr Thomas, who has worked at Station Road as a Salaried GP for a number of years and Dr Rastogi joined in 2015.

Dr Sharma is our GP Retainer and works for four sessions a week.

The General Practice Reforms in 1990 and the decision to become a Fundholding practice in 1993 put extreme pressures on the Surgery accommodation and 1994 saw considerable refurbishment and extensions to the premises.

As part of the restructure of the NHS, Station Road Surgery, along with nine other GP practices in Surrey Heath, have come together to form Surrey Heath Clinical Commissioning Group.  They are one of five emerging commissioning groups in Surrey and have an office in Surrey Heath Borough Council.

Station Road Surgery had a Care Quality Commission inspection earlier this year and if you click onto the CQC Widget below you will see the published results of our inspection.
